Some people talk about question like "Is GPT-4 AGI?" and "Will GPT-N be AGI?". I don't think so. I think GPT-4 ranks extremely lowly on the AGI scale. But I also think that it could be a very large component of something that does rank very highly. It's just that GPT-4 is the wrong kind of thing to be AGI. That's how I feel!
